The ideal size car is something like a Fiat Panda/500 and not anything bigger than a Fiat Punto.
From Bedonia to Masanti Follow these directions once IN Bedonia.
Take the road RIGHT up the hill to Bardi/Piacenza (SP359) staying on the main road, passing signs for Monte, Libbia, Monte Vaca’ and Ponteceno. Stay on the main road at Ponteceno you are less than 10 minutes away. Once past the water factory look for a blue sign for Masanti Di Sopra and a small road up and off to your RIGHT. Follow this road up past the church, do not turn towards the church, and up in to the piazza where you will see a large white house on your right and a narrow road leads up to the RIGHT. Follow this round, immediately behind the white house and on the RIGHT you will see CasaTerracotta, a small orange house. Park on the hard-standing in front between the two plant pots, next to a small red car.
If you are coming from the direction of BARDI, follow the signs for CHIAVARI. Do not go into Masant DI SOTTO stay on the main road Masanti Di Sopra is on the LEFT on a bend.

Milan Aiports: Easy. Join the A1 motorway Milano/Bologna. Join the A15 at Parma heading for La Spezia. Leave the motorway at the Borgo Val Di Taro (Borgotaro) exit. Stay on the main road heading for Borgo Val Di Taro, then on to Bedonia, once in Bedonia follow the signs for Bardi/Piacenza, the junction is on the right up the hill. Stay on the road to Bardi and Masanti is approximately a 20 minute drive up. Shortly past the water factory the road up to Masanti is signed with a blue sign Masanti Di Sopra.

Genova Airport: Challenging. Join A12 heading to La Spezia. At La Spezia join A15 Parma. Leave the motorway at the Borgo Val Di Taro(Borgotaro) exit. Stay on the main road heading for Borgo Val Di Taro, then on to Bedonia, once in Bedonia follow the signs for Bardi, the junction is on the right up the hill. Stay on the road to Bardi and Masanti is approximately a 20 minute drive up, the road up to Masanti is signed with a blue sign Masanti Di Sopra.
Pisa: Challenging. Easier by train. (direct to Borgotaro) Join A12 heading to La Spezia. At La Spezia join A15 Parma. Leave the motorway at the Borgo Val Di Taro (Borgotaro) exit. Stay on the main road heading for Borgo Val Di Taro, then on to Bedonia, once in Bedonia follow the signs for Bardi, the junction is on the right up the hill. Stay on the road to Bardi and Masanti is approximately a 20 minute drive up, the road up to Masanti is signed with a blue sign Masanti Di Sopra.
A Road Routes
Genova Airport: Challenging but more picturesque and less zippy. Join A12 heading to La Spezia. Leave the motorway at the Chiavari junction. Down the ramp, right at roundabout carry on to major junction and traffic lights, turn left Parma/Carasco carry on past the train station. Straight on at traffic lights and watch for the junction to the right for Carasco/Parma, then turn left and give way bearing right on to the roundabout, at the roundabout go straight ahead, then left at the next roundabout and bear right, stay on this road heading for Carasco, at next roundabout take the right. Look for brown signs for Passo del Bocco. At a building arching over the road, pass under and turn immediate right on to the Passo del Bocco. At the bottom of the pass at Santa Maria del Taro take a right for Bedonia/Parma. Once in Bedonia follow the signs for Bardi, the junction is on the left up the hill. Stay on the road to Bardi and Masanti is approximately a 20 minute drive up. Shortly past the water factory the road up to Masanti is signed with a blue sign Masanti Di Sopra.
Pisa Airport: Challenging but more picturesque and less zippy. Join A12 heading to La Spezia, leave motorway at Pontremoli or carry on for the Borgo Val Di Taro Junction. Join SP62 to Parma, shortly after looking for brown signs turning left on the Passo del Brattello. At bottom in Borgotaro turn right following the road round. Pass through the industrial estate and at the end turn left to Bedonia. Once in Bedonia follow the signs for Bardi, the junction is on the right up the hill. Stay on the road to Bardi and Masanti is approximately a 20 minute drive up. Shortly past the water factory the road up to Masanti is singed with a blue sign Masanti Di Sopra.
By Train: Your destination train station is Val Di Taro. (Borgotaro).
There is also a local bus service from Parma to Bedonia via Fornovo and the coast.
